Who Is Zoe?
An innovative dancer, Zoe has been said to have her own unique take on Tribal bellydance. She has had the honor of performing with Jill Parker, Aziza, Liz Strong, and was a member of the Suhaila Dance Company in 2001. Zoe has been bellydancing non-stop since she saw her first bellydancer at a festival in 2000, where she developed

She has began touring with The Bellydance Superstars and the Indigo in the fall of 2005, and is currently touring the United States with them. Her interpretation of bellydance is enhanced through the study of other dance forms, including Classical indian Kathak, which she studied at the esteemed school of Chitresh Das. Zoe is currently a part of the

an instant obsession with the dance form and has not been the same since. She embarked on her path as a dancer at the Southern California Rennaissance Faire, being surrounded by live music and large crowds early on in her career. She was a part of the esteemed Bay area Troupe Aywah!, whose founding teacher and director was Katarina Burda, one of the original members of Bal Anat. With this company she began performing at numerous venues in the San Francisco Area and becoming familiar with Folk dance from many regions around the world.

Group Arabesque with Liz Strong, a dance troup pushing the boundaries of traditional bellydance with old timey influences.
Her colorful dance history includes performing with the Extra-action marching band and David Byrne at the Hollywood Bowl and the Fillmore in San Francisco June of 2005, Zoe is also a member of the Yard-dogs Road Show, whom she toured america with last summer. She is currently a part of Le Serpent Rouge, with Rachel Brice & Mardi Love.
